Alison Krauss was born July 23rd, 1971 in the city of Decatur, Illinois. LeAnn Kymes and Krauss, were among the youngest Grammy Award-winners. Alison Maria Krauss was born in the month of July 1971. Alison is a country and bluegrass artist. Her first job was in the world of music from a young age. When she was 10 years old, she took part in local competitions and made her debut album.
